What the service covers

Once construction starts we follow the project on site: we visit at agreed stages, check the work against the approved drawings, review materials and keep the owner informed until the building is complete.

Supervision gives the owner an engineer’s eye on the work while it is being built: what goes up is checked against the approved drawings, materials and submittals are reviewed, and the owner hears how the work is progressing.

The stages at which the site is visited are agreed at the start, as part of the scope of the appointment.

How the work runs

    The owner and the office agree the stages of construction at which the site will be visited.

  2. Site visits

    At each agreed stage an engineer visits the site and checks the work against the approved drawings.

  3. Materials and submittals

    Materials and submittals are reviewed against the approved drawings.

  4. Progress updates

    The owner is kept informed of progress until the building is complete.

Do you take on projects outside Ras Al Khaimah?
No. The office takes on projects in Ras Al Khaimah only.
Who receives the progress updates?
The owner. Keeping the owner informed until the building is complete is part of the service.
Can supervision be combined with the design?
Yes. The office offers architectural design, interior design, site supervision and feasibility studies; they can be taken together or one at a time.

Scope is confirmed per project. The deliverables listed here are the usual ones; what your appointment covers is agreed in writing before work begins.
